The Brazilian Butt Lift procedure, or a BBL, is becoming the fastest-growing cosmetic surgery in the nation, probably because it is a more natural approach compared to butt implants. A Brazilian butt lift consists of natural body fat being extracted from other areas of the body and then injected into the buttocks for a fuller, more voluminous bottom.
If getting a BBL is a possibility for you, you may be wondering which buttock’s shape would best fit you. Your body’s natural shape will be taken into account to achieve the booty that will best compliment your body contour. There are a fair number of shapes to choose from, such as the upside-down heart, round, inverted, and more.
BBL Buttock Shapes
“O” shape (round)- This butt shape is also known as a curvy booty or a bubbly butt. Fuller hips and natural curves characterize this buttock’s shape. While there are exercises that can be done to gradually attain the look of a rounder booty, having a BBL has the added benefit of removing unwanted fat from other areas to achieve the perfect, rounded booty. Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian are known for having round buttocks shape.
“A” shape (Heart)- For this butt shape, it’s easier to picture by imaging an actual upside-down heart. This is considered the most desired booty shape for many women because of the narrow waistline transitioning to fuller hips and a rounded bottom. A BBL will be done on this shape to create more shape and volume and enhance the appearance of the upside-down heart.
“V” shape (Inverted)- The V-shaped buttock is commonly recognized by a fuller waist and outer thighs and few curves in the actual buttocks area. BBL helps improve the look of a V-shape bottom by extracting fat from the waist area and injecting it into the butt to create a more rounded and curvier look.
“H” shape (Square)- This buttock’s shape is identified by straight lines from the waist to the thighs and a lack of feminine curves in between. A BBL will remove fat from the waistline and be injected into the buttocks area to carefully shape and lift the site for a more hourglass figure.
Consulting with your plastic surgeon will give you a better idea of which bottom shape will best compliment your body contour.
