Dr. Carlton Scroggins is known for and passionate about providing his patients with the safest, most up-to-date surgical techniques. We are elated to have him as part of Mia’s medical team in Denver.
Dr. Scroggins started his medical journey at The University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine where he excelled academically, graduating Cum Laude with a combined BA/MD in Biology and Psychology. He then went on to complete his 7-year residency (5 years of general surgery and 2 years of plastic surgery), rotating between the prestigious Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. and St. Louis University Hospital.
After finishing his medical residency, he went on to complete several different fellowship training programs where he was fortunate to work side by side with and learn from an array of highly trained and skilled plastic surgeons.
Dr. Scroggins began his career as a surgeon at a private practice and now boasts an impressive 25+ years of surgical experience, specializing in a wide range of procedures including liposuction, breast augmentation, Brazilian butt lift, and abdominoplasty. He has been published several times and presented at medical conferences all over the nation.
He carries a wealth of knowledge and experience and truly wants to help every one of his patients achieve their ideal body aesthetic. He understands that every patient is unique and takes his time to address all their needs and concerns.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, playing racquetball, trying new restaurants, visiting art galleries, and playing the guitar.
