Dr. Rambod “Ray” Charepoo graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine and later completed general surgery residency programs at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey and Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
With over 13 years of experience, Dr. Charepoo’s extensive training in various states and under an assortment of talented physicians has allowed him to learn the “tricks of the trade” and diversify his surgical skillset. Known by his patients and his peers as “Dr. Projection” for his ability to project each patient’s body goals in his work, Dr. Charepoo believes in the dramatic psychological effects plastic surgery can offer.
By using his craft to alter patient’s physique in the way they desire, Dr. Charepoo has been able to improve the overall happiness and quality of life for many of his patients. Aside from his years of training, Dr. Charepoo is known for his ability to pick up skills and concepts quickly.
He frequently binges E! News’ “Botched,” where he is able to test his knowledge of plastic surgery inside and outside of the operating room. Dr. Charepoo’s philosophy as a surgeon is to enjoy work, but to also enjoy his personal life. He believes achieving a balance makes him a better surgeon and allows him to create even better life-changing results for his clients.
