With over 30 years of experience in the plastic surgery industry, Dr. Dana Towle is joining the Mia Aesthetics Las Vegas team. The esteemed surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has a certificate of added qualifications in hand surgery. His unique line of expertise and impressive resume make him an invaluable addition to the Mia Family.
Dr. Towle began his medical training by completing his pre-med studies at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Dr. Towle then graduated with a medical degree from St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Following medical school, Dr. Towle went on to complete a general surgery internship at the University of St. Louis followed by a plastic surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, MO. In the final year of his training, he completed a fellowship in hand surgery with Dr. Lynn D. Ketchum in Overland Park, KS.
His work experience includes an impressive list of notable accomplishments, including making thumbs for children born without them, and sewing hands back onto patients who have endured life-changing accidents. While he is known far and wide as “the hand surgeon,” Dr. Towle’s penchant for detailed and difficult procedures allows him to carefully and beautifully execute all types of full body procedures, including liposuction, mommy makeovers, and the Brazilian butt lift (BBL). Dr. Towle views plastic surgery as more than a specialty; to him, it’s a philosophy. He has always been fascinated with the way plastic surgeons view body tissue, reconstructing, and carving it to create the most functional and aesthetically pleasing change possible.
When he is not at work, you can find Dr. Towle with his twin daughters or spending time in nature. He is looking forward to moving to the Las Vegas area and enjoying the heat and desert landscape.
Dr. Towle is excited to bring his talents to Mia Aesthetics, where he believes the company thrives in keeping patient costs low while maintaining high quality results and patient care. Dr. Towle’s philosophy when it comes to his career as a plastic surgeon is to correct or enhance each patient’s body to improve their happiness and overall quality of life.
