Dr. James R. Payne is a distinguished and board-certified plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience in cosmetic, reconstructive, and trauma-related surgery. A graduate of the University of California at San Francisco Medical School, Dr. Payne has undergone extensive training, including residencies in General Surgery, ENT, and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, as well as advanced fellowships in Reconstructive Microsurgery, Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery, and Aesthetic Surgery.
Dr. Payne’s career is marked by excellence and leadership. He served as Chief of Surgery at multiple hospitals in Modesto, CA, and directed Facial Trauma Emergency Room Surgical Services at Level II trauma centers. Later, he founded a successful and busy Medicare-certified surgery center specializing in comprehensive cosmetic procedures. Known for his collaborative approach, Dr. Payne has worked closely with emergency room staff, surgeons, and administrators to provide exceptional patient care. His expertise encompasses a wide range of procedures, including facial reconstruction, breast surgery, body contouring, and complex trauma cases, all delivered with an unwavering commitment to patient safety and superior outcomes.
