Mia Aesthetics is thrilled to welcome Dr. Martin Morse, a board-certified plastic surgeon, to our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Morse is a highly skilled reconstructive surgeon who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Duke University School of Medicine. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and completed his general surgery training at Barnes Hospital/Washington University and the University of Rochester School of Medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Seymour Schwartz.
Dr. Morse was awarded a Farley Research Fellowship in Pediatric Transplant Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. During his fellowship, he authored numerous peer-reviewed papers on hepatobiliary disease in children and worked closely with Dr. Joseph Vacanti and Dr. Robert Langer, pioneers in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. Together, they hold several patents for their groundbreaking work at Harvard and MIT.
Trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida, Dr. Morse also completed an Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. With over 25 years in private practice, Dr. Morse has extensive experience in awake body contouring, performing thousands of liposuction procedures and skin tightening treatments. He is also a certified expert in multiple laser platforms, having performed thousands of treatments for skin resurfacing, hair removal, pigmented lesion and tattoo removal, and various surgical procedures.
Dr. Morse is dedicated to providing exceptional care and believes that trust and understanding are key to the patient-surgeon relationship. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor for Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery by U.S. News and World Report for over 25 years. He has practiced in the Washington DC metro area, Orlando, Florida, and Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dr. Morse served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years, participating in Desert Storm, the War on Terrorism, and Iraqi Freedom. He retired with the rank of CAPTAIN and received multiple commendations, including the Meritorious Service Medal. He also trained at the Johnson Space Center and served as a NASA flight surgeon for several Shuttle Missions.
Dr. Morse has volunteered for over two decades at a Northern Virginia County Laser Tattoo Removal Clinic, helping teens leave gangs, and for several Anti-Bioterrorism organizations. He has also led volunteer medical missions in Central America and Africa. Since moving to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area in early 2022, Dr. Morse has significantly impacted the cosmetic surgery community. He and his wife coined the term “Firmsculpt” for their patented procedure combining liposuction and skin tightening under local anesthesia.
In their free time, Dr. Morse and his wife support the arts and humanities, travel extensively, and enjoy exercise, tennis, golf, birding, movies, and attending sports events and music concerts.
