Dan Garner, DO

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Dan Garner to our team of esteemed plastic surgeons in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Garner is a distinguished cosmetic and general surgeon with over eight years of experience. Throughout his professional trajectory, he has exhibited leadership in overseeing medical facilities while simultaneously delivering empathetic patient care. Dr. Garner’s commitment to professionalism and patient-centered approaches is evident through his varied expertise, spanning cosmetic surgery, general surgery, urgent care medicine, wound care medicine, and occupational medicine.

His proficiencies encompass a wide array of skills, ranging from expertise in facial and body cosmetic surgery, robotic and laparoscopic surgery, to endoscopy, wound care, and effective leadership and management of medical establishments. Dr. Garner successfully completed his Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at an AACS-Accredited program in Florida, where he underwent rigorous training in diverse cosmetic procedures.

Preceding his fellowship, Dr. Garner served as a general surgeon in several locations, handling critical emergency general surgery cases, performing surgical interventions, and providing comprehensive post-operative care. Particularly noteworthy was his tenure as a Clinic Medical Director at Concentra Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care, where he showcased remarkable leadership qualities by nurturing staff development and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Dr. Garner graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware in 2010; and in 2016, he received his medical degree from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout his academic endeavors, he consistently excelled, collecting accolades such as inclusion on the Dean’s List and being awarded the National Merit Scholarship. Dr. Garner completed five years of General Surgery Residency at HCA HealthONE/Sky Ridge Medical Center in Colorado.

In addition to his academic qualifications, Dr. Garner holds certifications in laparoscopic and endoscopic skills, robotic surgery, as well as basic and advanced life support techniques. His unwavering commitment to continuous improvement is evident through his pursuit of certifications and active engagement in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes.
