Dr. Ezeamuzie – Plastic Surgeon At Mia Aesthetics

Mia Aesthetics is excited to introduce into our Mia Aesthetics team in Atlanta, Dr. Obinna (Obi) Ezeamuzie. With a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Georgia, Dr. Ezeamuzie went on to complete medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. He then completed his general surgery residency at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in New York with a plastic surgery research Fellowship at NYU. Dr. Ezeamuzie finished a critical care fellowship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and his plastic surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital. And lastly, he completed a cosmetic fellowship at Star Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ezeamuzie chose plastic surgery because it’s a field where the surgeons can get creative and use all the skills they learned during their residency to find solutions for patient’s problem areas. Thus far, Dr. Ezeamuzie’s most rewarding experience as a plastic surgeon has been completing a volunteer mission in India operating on children with cleft lips and palates. He felt instant gratification watching the parent’s faces light up and knowing he changed these children’s lives.
Originally from Atlanta, Dr. Ezeamuzie is excited to move back to Atlanta and be close to his family again. His parents have always been his biggest inspiration because they were able to use their limited resources to further his and his sibling’s lives. Dr. Ezeamuzie knew he wanted to join the Mia family because they allow him to focus solely on his patients. And he also looks forward to working with our esteemed team of plastic surgeons to continue to give patients the results they desire.
Dr. Ezeamuzie enjoys performing all body contouring procedures, including Tummy Tucks, Liposuction, BBL, and Breast lifts. Future patients can expect Dr. Ezeamuzie to be a caring physician whose number one priority is patient safety. He guarantees to always listen to patients’ concerns and ensure they feel comfortable moving forward with their cosmetic decision. However, for him, this isn’t possible without mutual trust between the patient and himself. It’s critical to Dr. Ezeamuzie that patients trust that he has their best interest at heart to give them the body transformation they’ve always wanted.
