Mia Aesthetics is proud to have plastic surgeon, Dr. Joel Bronstein, be a part of the Mia Aesthetics Chicago team. Dr. Bronstein graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Bioengineering. He then completed medical school at Stanford University and finished his plastic surgery training at Loyola University Medical Center. As senior resident, he feels honored to have been able to pass on his knowledge to peers and be there to help both his students and fellow peers.
Dr. Bronstein always knew he wanted to be a doctor, and he loves helping individuals through medical problems. Dr. Bronstein chose to specialize in plastic surgery because he understands how frustrating it can be to be unable to achieve body goals through diet and exercise alone and loves helping patients reach their final goals through surgery. Throughout his surgical journey, Dr. Bronstein has had the opportunity to work under many great mentors that have pushed him to be his best self and become the plastic surgeon he is today.
Dr. Bronstein’s philosophy as a plastic surgeon is to do the right thing for the patient and set realistic expectations. Trust and understanding are the most critical factors for him in a doctor and patient relationship to give patients their desired results. Dr. Bronstein understands how fast-paced the plastic surgery field can be, which is why giving his undivided attention to his patients is his top priority when he is with them.
A man of many skills, Dr. Bronstein loves music and is a classically trained pianist and sang in the Glee Club in college. He has extensive martial arts training, including a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and has a passion for fitness. When not in the operating room, you can find Dr. Bronstein hiking, traveling, and exploring new places. It’s important for him to get out of his bubble and immerse himself in different cultures to know what’s going on in other parts of the world.
Working in an environment where both employees and customers are happy is very important for Dr. Bronstein. This is just one of the reasons why he was drawn to Mia Aesthetics. He also appreciates how Mia allows patients to get plastic surgery at an affordable price, making it attainable for anyone. As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Bronstein is known amongst his peers for having “good hands,” and future patients can expect him to be very patient, caring, and thorough.
