At Mia Aesthetics, we understand that losing weight can be difficult. We also understand that this frustration multiplies when you want plastic surgery to help you reach your body goals but your BMI is too high to qualify. Unlike some other plastic surgery centers, we won’t just turn you away for surgery and leave you to struggle on your own. We want to help you qualify for the surgery you want and are happy to help with weight loss medications that can assist you in feeling healthier and happier as you prepare for your surgery.
Our Skinny Shot
Semaglutide with Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6)
At Mia Aesthetics, our
skinny shot is comprised of prescription
semaglutide and pyridoxine, which is more commonly known as
vitamin B6. Originally developed as a drug for type 2 diabetes, semaglutide displayed an incredible ability to help people lose significant amounts of weight. It is now FDA-approved for use as a weight loss drug as well as a diabetes medication.
The vitamin B6 in our shots is what is known as a
lipotropic compound. These compounds are substances that encourage your liver to make and store less fat. B vitamins also provide an energy boost. This can help you feel more alert and make it easier to get moving and exercise more. Remember that although skinny shots can really give your weight loss goals a big boost, they work best when paired with a healthy diet and exercise regimen. Making healthy lifestyle changes now can also help you keep the weight off when you stop taking the skinny shot.
How to Qualify to Have the Mia Aesthetics Skinny Shot Shipped Directly to You
If you qualify for a Mia Aesthetics skinny shot, we will conveniently ship the medication right to your door. But semaglutide is a prescription drug, so we have to make sure it’s a safe fit for you before we ship it. To that end, we require that you have a
virtual consultation with one of
our clinics and we will help you
calculate your BMI to make sure you qualify.
How Much Does Semaglutide Cost?
Mia Aesthetics skinny shots are administered once a week, and you can easily give yourself the injection at home.
A 1-month supply of semaglutide shots costs $400. If you like, you can save some money by buying a
three-month supply for $1,000. This option saves you $200 on your order, which adds up to an $800 savings over the course of a year. This price includes everything you need to get the shot, including shipping and needles. The only added expense will be sales tax, if applicable.
How Much Does Semaglutide Cost with Insurance?
In most cases, semaglutide for weight loss isn’t covered by insurance. Unfortunately, this is true of most of the services that Mia Aesthetics offers, and as such we don’t work with any insurance companies. If you have type 2 diabetes, your health insurance may cover the cost of semaglutide. If so, you will need to talk to your primary care physician or endocrinologist.
