This patient not only wanted to reduce the sagging look of her breasts but also wanted an augmentation as well. Sagging is completely normal with age and is not untreatable. She was an ideal candidate for this surgery, given she met the BMI and other health and safety requirements we adhere to.
We have a lot of prospective patients who are simply looking for a breast lift. Others, like this patient, are looking to add a certain size and shape to their breasts, which a standard breast lift can’t accommodate. Typically, it’s easier and more affordable to do both the lift and augmentation in one surgery, which this patient opted for.
This patient also requested we reduce the size of her areola on both breasts. This is a common concern and we are almost always able to work that into the surgery plan.
After surgery, the patient was advised to follow a recovery plan in order to achieve the best results and mitigate any potential complications. The results of a breast lift with silicone implant combination surgery can last for up to 15 years.
