Marc Sarcia, MD

Mia Aesthetics is proud to have board-Certified plastic surgeon join our Mia Aesthetics Houston team, Dr. Marc Sarcia. Dr. Sarcia earned his medical degree at Georgetown University. He then completed his surgical residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, formerly known as the Medical College of Virginia, in general and plastic surgery. He decided to continue with further training in the form of his fellowship in Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the practice of the late Dr. Mark Codner, who was world renown for his work in eyelid aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Sarcia chose plastic surgery because of the creativity that comes with the field. He enjoys that there are different methods for tackling the problem areas the patient wants to address versus one single approach as there are in other disciplines. While he can’t pinpoint one greatest accomplishment, he is grateful for all the friendships he’s made with both other peers and staff.

As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Sarcia aims to make sure that the patient is always cared for. Patients can expect him to always put in his best effort, and he wants patients to know that they won’t go through the healing process alone. For Dr. Sarcia, honesty is the most critical factor in a doctor and patient relationship. He’s known for his candor and finds it essential to be very transparent with his patients to deliver the best results.

Having already lived in Houston, Texas, Dr. Sarcia loves that the city is a cultural melting pot. And as a big foodie, he and his wife love having all types of food available in this diverse city. When not working, you can find Dr. Sarcia spending time with his family. He is also an avid auto enthusiast. He enjoys watching formula one races as well as spending time on the track himself when he can! Dr. Sarcia looks forward to joining the Mia Aesthetics Houston team and cannot wait to transform patient’s lives through plastic surgery.
